I like this one, it's beautiful! I think I have a few blue lace agates around here somewhere. Nice work. D
ReplyDeleteHi Dave,
ReplyDeleteThanks Dave! Funny, here's a California connection again - you know I got my blue lace agates from Santa Monica? From a bead place (http://www.semipreciousbeadsalon.com) that also exhibits photo portraits, on the western end of Montana Ave. The women there were really helpful when we visited in Feb and I had to pull something together very quickly - they had an amazing selection of different stones, and let me use their bench and tools, to create a neckpiece. A long story - beautiful stones. The metaphysical qualities of blue lace agates are also interesting.
Yes, I'll check them out thanks. My Grandfather was a rock hound and made some Jewelry but was most interested in the search for stones. I have had the same interests all my life. I have most of his rocks now, there are some cut ones that i think might be the same or some other agate with the same coloring. Good luck with the welding.
